Role Overview:
As a Producer at Overflow Labs, you will play a pivotal role in managing the production of our Unreal 5 multiplayer hero shooter game. This full-time, fully remote position offers the chance to work with a diverse and talented team from around the world. You will be responsible for overseeing the project's lifecycle, ensuring that it stays on schedule, within budget, and meets the high-quality standards set by the studio.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day production processes, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
Coordinate with different departments (Art, Design, Programming) to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.
Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, including risk management plans to mitigate potential delays.
Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
Facilitate team meetings and scrums, encouraging a proactive and productive work environment.
Oversee budget allocation and manage resources effectively to maximize efficiency and output.
Implement strategies to foster team motivation and maintain high morale throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Production, Business Management, or a related field.
5+ years' experience in game development, with at least 2 years in a production role.
Proven track record of successfully shipped games, preferably within the AAA space.
Strong understanding of game development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make decisions under pressure.
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
