Role Overview:
The Gameplay Developer will be integral in designing and implementing the core mechanics of our upcoming projects. This role combines deep technical expertise with a creative approach to game design, ensuring that gameplay is both fun and technically sound.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine game mechanics and systems to enhance player experience.
Collaborate closely with design teams to translate game concepts into functional game code.
Implement player interactions and game rules using Unreal Engine.
Test and debug game mechanics to ensure smooth functionality and integration.
Optimize gameplay features for performance and scalability.
Document technical design and code, maintaining clear and efficient codebase management.
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field.
3+ years of experience in gameplay development, preferably in a networked multiplayer environment.
Proficient in C++ and experienced with Unreal Engine.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
