We're looking for a Lead VFX Artist who combines creative vision with technical expertise to enhance the visual impact of our games.

Role Overview:

The Lead VFX Artist will be pivotal in creating and managing visual effects that enhance gameplay and storytelling. This role demands a blend of creativity and technical prowess, ensuring that all effects are both visually stunning and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and create cutting-edge visual effects using Unreal Engine.

  • Collaborate with the art, design, and technical teams to integrate and optimize VFX in the game environment.

  • Maintain a consistent aesthetic in line with the game’s visual style and narrative cues.

  • Proactively identify and solve problems related to VFX production and integration.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in VFX technology.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in Animation, Film, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in video game VFX, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Profound knowledge of Unreal Engine, particularly in VFX creation and optimization.

  • Strong foundation in the principles of animation, physics, and lighting.

  • Exceptional technical skills in VFX tools such as Houdini, Nuke, or similar.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and lead a team with enthusiasm.

  • A passionate gamer with a keen understanding of how VFX enhance user experience.
