Role Overview:
The Tech Lead will play a central role in guiding the technical aspects of our game development projects. This position involves leading the technical team, overseeing the development process, and ensuring the implementation of high-quality, innovative technical solutions across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and oversee the development of technical frameworks and infrastructure for game projects.
Lead and mentor a team of developers, promoting best practices in coding and project management.
Collaborate with other team leads to ensure cohesive progress across all departments.
Drive the innovation and implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance game development efficiency and capability.
Solve complex technical challenges that arise during the development process.
Ensure the technical feasibility and stability of new game features and systems.
Regularly review and optimize existing game code and systems for improved performance.
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in game development, with a proven track record of successful technical leadership.
Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine and proficiency in C++.
Strong foundation in software architecture and design patterns.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to fast-paced development cycles.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of technical professionals.
Deep understanding of the technical requirements of online multiplayer games, including networking, performance optimization, and security.
